Citizen participation in local government is essential in creating a strong community and shaping the future of the Town. The issues and challenges faced by our local government, and their impact on people’s lives in the community, are important and complex.

There are numerous opportunities to participate in Town affairs, to help shape policy, to work with interesting people, and to assist in the growth and prosperity of the Town. 

Committees meet on different days and with different frequencies. Members are appointed or elected depending on the board of committee. We hope you will share your skills and knowledge with us by volunteering for the Town.

  • By Mail: submit correspondence outlining qualifications and background to the Board of Selectmen, 350 Main Street, Webster, MA 01570.
