 Fire Hydrant Flushing Program

March 22, 2024

During the Month of April, the Water Department will begin flushing fire hydrants daily between 7:00am and 3:00pm throughout the Town.

The procedure will include flushing accumulated sediments from the water mains and testing the operation of fire hydrants.

Customers may experience accumulated sediments in their house laterals and some discolored water.  This is normal and will clear after a brief run of cold water at the tap.
