The format for the Annual Water Quality Report (also known as Consumer Confidence Reports or CCRs) follows guidelines set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as part of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
The EPA requires all public water providers to deliver this information to all customers on an annual basis in a single report that provides water quality data to the public in an understandable manner.
