[ARCHIVED] Public Input Needed - Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

Hazard

The Town is undergoing an update of its 5-year Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). The purpose of the Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) is to identify and profile the Town’s risk and vulnerability to potential natural hazards. Specifically, this plan assesses the potential impacts of hurricanes, winter storms, extreme precipitation and flooding, earthquakes, drought/wildfire, and dam/culvert failure and how these hazards could impact vulnerable populations, cultural assets, economic sectors, critical buildings and infrastructure, and natural resources. The updated HMP will provide proactive opportunities for Webster to effectively address long-term resilience in the face of current and future natural hazards, help the community be better prepared for a natural disaster, and allow for quicker recovery times post hazard occurrences.

Public opinion is extremely important to the planning process. We greatly appreciate your taking the time to share your opinions and experience about natural hazard risk in your community.

The survey should take 15 minutes to complete. The online survey is available at:
