The Town of Webster regrets to inform its citizens of the recent passing of Mr. Robert J. Miller, former long-time Selectman.
Mr. Miller was first elected to the Webster Board of Selectmen in 2001 and served for 18 years, including 12 years as Chairman. He also served on the Town’s Finance Committee (including as Chair) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Commission.
Current Chairman of the Board, Earl Gabor, noted that “Bob never forgot his roots, having been born and raised in Webster. He could always be counted on for his candor and doing what he felt was best for our Town and its citizens. Bob was well known for always looking out for the people. We thank Bob for his dedication and love of all things Webster. He will long be remembered for his many contributions to help improve Webster and make it a better place to live and work over his two decades of service to the Town.”
The Town will honor Mr. Miller’s legacy by lowering its flags to half-staff over the next week.
