PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Finance Committee will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 6:30 P.M. in the Webster Middle School Library, 75 Poland Street, Webster, MA, to discuss the Fiscal Year 2015 Proposed Operating Budget pursuant to Section 6-5(a) of the Town of Webster Charter.
Anyone wishing to be heard should appear at the time and place designated above.

BOARD OF SELECTMEN
The Board of Selectmen has called a Special Town Meeting for Monday, May 12, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. in the Bartlett High School Auditorium, 52 Lake Parkway.
The Town of Webster is a medium size community located in central Massachusetts on the Connecticut border. Founded in 1832, it was primarily an industrial center due to its abundant water supply. Textiles and shoe factories flourished in Webster resulting in a population with diverse ethnic backgrounds. By far, the Town's richest asset is the beautiful fresh water, spring fed Lake Chargoggaggoggmanchaugagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Water activities abound such as fishing, waterskiing, swimming, boating and sailing on this magnificent five mile long lake. Webster is 18 miles south of Worcester, 56 miles southwest of Boston, 33 miles northwest of Providence, Rhode Island and 160 miles from New York City.
